Why "invest" instead of "donate"?
The IRS will consider any financial gift as a donation because you are not receiving any goods or services in return for your gifts. But a lot of people donate garbage or what they no longer want to charity, while reserving their very best for investments.
God doesn’t need our money but God wants us to give cheerfully expecting a reward. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7, Hebrews 11:6)
Matthew 13:44-45 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
The United States and the IRS will pass away, but the kingdom of heaven will last forever. Store up your investments there.
